A good makeup remover removes the makeup and dirt. I follow up with a foam or soap which I love. Many dermatologists say soap is not good for your skin as it strips the skin of the much-needed oils. Salma Hayek is an advocate for not using soap. And they are probably right but I use soap. I just don’t feel clean without it. Whatever your choice, do use a makeup up remover each night.

No matter how much money you are willing to spend, there is no product on the market that takes make-up off better than Albolene. “It’s an oldie but goodie” since the company has been around for more than 100 years. The cleansing liquifies on the skin to dissolve make up without scrubbing. You can buy a 12 oz tub from $10 to $14 and it will last for about a year. Now I call that a bargain.
Every actor that’s appeared on stage is familiar with Albolene. I was introduced to it many years ago when I started my theatrical career. In those days, people on stage used pancake makeup and grease paint. Albolene melts it all away.
